How do I ragdoll one of my character's arms and ignore the animation they are supposed to be doing?

I am working on a project where I need to ragdoll my character’s entire right arm, starting at about the upperarm_r. I’ve had trouble for a while researching it so might as well ask here.
I’ve tried “Set All Bodies Below Simulate Physics” but can’t get it to work for me.
Any suggestions?
