Hello there,
I’m working on a 24h day/night cycle and would like to link up the position of a moon-texture to the angle of my directional moon light.
The moon texture should be projected onto the existing skydome. (Disregarding the skydome’s UVs)
I already have my dynamic material, I have the directional light’s world-rotation and normalized forward-vector and I’m transmitting those values to the dynamic material successfully… I’m just struggling to figure out the right world-space texturing nodes and the math that’ll rotate my moon texture-projection in sync with the directional light.
Any help appreciated.
