Hello everyone!
Im currently working on a game I plan to publish to a website, and have created a working HTML5 build of my game, but it only works from my computer where I also have all the files for it. I sent the link to my iPad air and Android phone, but I canot play the game. It says “safari canot open the file because it is local”. What do i need to do to make this work? Thanks.
Masterburgler,
When you’re planning to play your game on a mobile device or tablet, it’s best to package it for the OS that your tablet or mobile device is on. So if you’d like to use your iPad Air, you’d want to package your project for iOS. HTML5 is typically used for computers.

I know how to configure my game for iOS, which I have already done and it works just fine. Im trying to submit the same game to a website, and I don’t know how to get a link that I can send to them so they can test and review my game. I personally don’t have another computer to test my link from, so I tested it from my iPad and smart phone and it doesn’t work. I need to know if it is ready to be sent into the website for review.
Sorry if I was a bit vague in my first post, and thanks.
In order for me to check your HTML5 project, I am going to need your HTML5 web address, or provide me with your HTML5 project in a zip.
Have you tried Chrome, Chromium, and Firefox?
