My sequence automatically stops when it hits this line, even if the playback is set further back. I haven’t been able to find anything on this. Any help is appreciated.

The red bar there with the diagonal dashes indicate the end frame of you’re currently viewed shot. You can’t expand it from within the shot because it’s defined by the parent/master that contains that shot. You’ll need to go up to the parent/master and expand how much it sees of this current shot.
