How do I make parent blueprint not read only?

I reparented an anim blueprint, And the anim graph was editable at first. Until I saved and reopened the project, now it says read only and can’t be edited. Aparrently its because reparented BPs can’t be edited or something of the sort. I went to the parent BP and it says Read only graph cannot be edited. How do I make the parent BP editable, so that the child is not read only?
