How do i make my project not open as soon as i open unreal engine

When i open unreal engine it automatically opens my project when i’m trying to go to a different project. i know i hit a setting button a while back to make it do that but i don’t want it there anymore

Are you opening the Epic Games Launcher or clicking a shortcut to launch your engine version? If you are launching from a shortcut, open its properties and see if that leads to your .uproject file or your engine UE4Editor.exe

And you’re using this Launch button to launch your editor?

yeah i am. but it just takes me to my project

Try clicking the dropdown to the right of launch and creating a shortcut. If that shortcut points to your .uproject file you know that the launch button is pointed to that. I’d suggest pathing to your installed engine folder and creating a shortcut directly to the UE4Editor.exe. Path should be similar to EpicGames\UE_4.24\Engine\Binaries\Win64\UE4Editor.exe
