What do you mean? I think the standard procedure is to create a socket from the hand bone and attach the skeletal mesh of the lantern to the socket (so the lantern will follow the hand). Than you can simply have a specific animation for the whole skeleton or a specific animation for the arm or you can setup an ik controller inside unreal to dynamically control the location of the hand
