How do I make AI mimic my movement from their current location?

I’m making an FPS game, but I’ve set the camera up high to help me explain. I have a blueprint that gets my selected AI characters to form up on me in a V shape formation(initialformationblueprint.jpg) with me at the front regardless of my rotation in the world. After I press the key that gets them to form up I would like them to follow me in formation without rotating the formation(followingblueprint.jpg-doesn’t 100% work yet), in other words I would like the V to be pointing in the same direction as the formation moves(I’ve illustrated this in the formationtranslation.jpg image), unless I press the key the makes them form up again and give them a new direction to point at. I feel like the solution is something very simple I’m just missing it, any ideas?
