How do i make a specific play pitch dark?

i tried using the post process volume but the problem with that is that every single light source, like the flashlight of the player or the candles are too dark to even see. let me specify that i need the map to be day and a specific are of the map to always be pitch dark but with some lights that are visible… so like standard unreal engine 5 when i close the area with cubes so that sun light doesn’t go in
