How do i make a Platforming Targeting Shadow - why wont the static mesh circle stay on the ground?

I’ve tried using this code made by @ClockworkOcean, but it doesn’t work.

I want to add the circle under the player since I’m making an N64-style game and need the circle to help with platforming. The circle I made in the BP Static Mesh Component won’t stay on the ground when I jump. Does anyone know how to fix this?



I am using UE 5.4 for my game, i’strong textm new to game making and any help will be appreciated! thank you for reading!

Ny fault but, I’ve should of said ive did that but this is what happens:



It stays on the ground but dosen’t go underneath the player even though i put the static mesh under them and also moves away when i jump.

Also i did go back and change it and this is whats happening
