How do i Legally register business name with suffix (i.e. LLC, GmbH, SRL, etc): Please help me someone because i want to burn my game that i made in unreal engine on to a blank disc for just for my self and also for my windows pc. That is a bit of a loaded question. The only reason a person registers as a limited liability to keep lawsuits restricted to business damages and not personal. For an example, if you made a game that breaks laws like copyright the company that holds the rights can sue you as a person for damages incurred. If your company is an LLC they can only go after the assets registered to the company and not anything personal like house or car to meet the needs of the damages. That is just one scenario, not saying you will do that but I wanted you know in case you didn’t. You don’t need an LLC to publish video games. While it might look more professional, it isn’t a requirement. The reason to really consider this is because it costs money to hire a lawyer to file the legal paperwork to register. I’m not sure the process in Germany for a GmbH but I assume it is similar. So keep that in mind as you move forward. Best wishes.
