How do i have an AI to interact with things in the behaviour tree?

Hi i am new in this field, hopefully anyone could give me some examples.

To start off i was thinking that i would make an AI that picks up an ore and bring it to a furnace and start crafting. However in between there confused me a little, in the behaviour tree after picking up an ore and having it walk towards the furnace to smelt it, but after that how i have the AI actually craft out a product?
