How do I get my face animations to play on top of my master skeletal component (torso)?

I’m using modular skeletal pieces (head, torso, legs etc) all connected to a master component (body), along with physical animation applied to make it floppy.

I’m trying to get my characters face (head component) to blink/move lips etc, but the head component is following the master components AnimBP instead of its own Face AnimBP. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
