How do i fix this shadow?

How do i fix this shadows under my trees?

It is way too dark. I want it to look something like it does in unturned.

also would be nice to fix this wierd shadow distance issue with two sided foliage material.

Make new project, create it with starter content, you will get clouds, skybox sky light and directional light.

Sky light defines light intensity in shadows, its basically ambient light affecting everything.
Directional light acts as sun light. You change those two and you get basic lighting in level.

You also can search youtubes for HDRI skybox or light in unreal, you will see how to copy HDRI light setup to your level.

One of tutorials:

i heve the basic light from starter content and it is ■■■■

Then get free archvis projects and see how they did that.

Or google for “unreal mega lights”

HDR sky light doesnt allow day/night cycles and mega lights i think are made for lights like streets with lots and lots of lamps

That it is why you should always explain in first post what you exactly want to do. What is your setup, if its a game or not, project style, target hardware etc.

yes it is a game, stylized, low poly, no textures except leaves/grass, for mid pc

To answer the original question for the original scene.

Add a skylight, set the bounce intensity up to be a little more than the default.
And enable the real time capture feature.

Also, go in and disable or set up Eye Adaptation to taste.

If you already fussed with skylight per @Nawrot suggestion, then do try the eye adaptation.

For anyone who sees this in the future the answer is Skylight Leaking option in post process volume.

you have to input the value from keyboard cause ue5 will let you select only up to 0.02.
