How Do I Fix Missing Clothing Articles From DAZ 3D When Importing Into UE5?

Hello folks!

I’m having difficulties importing clothing from DAZ 3D into Unreal Engine 5. For some reason or other, everything imports correctly. The character, the pants, shows, gloves, and even the textures and materials of skin and clothes, as well as accessories, however, the collar, specifically, the collar, of the jacket does not render or show in engine.

It shows up fine in DAZ 3D. Shows up fine in Blender where I modify my characters before exporting, however when importing the character into Unreal, the collar is missing, or at least, it’s like, half missing, half melded into the coat.

I’ve tried everything I can think of; I have even tried importing the jacket by itself. And the problem still persists.

Am I not doing something correctly?

Did I export it as an FBX file incorrectly?

I want to make sure that, while I suspect, and want to say know it’s an engine issue, I want to cover my bases and make SURE I’m not overlooking something that may be a DAZ issue.

My DAZ to Unreal bridge doesn’t support UE5. So I had to export it the old fashioned way, so to speak.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If need be I will send screenshots. Please don’t mind the “White Eyes” I haven’t added materials and custom iris coloring yet.
