That’s basically my question. Do I have to use an event track and use blueprint for that?
You can set the volume of a sound cue in Matinee for every keyframe you create for that sound track.
Make sure you select the sound track and dont have a sound cue selected in the content browser before you create a keyframe…
Can you post a screenshot of your Matinee please?
And how do I set up a keyframe? Everytime I do it it just inserts a new sound on top of the previous one.
When I do that it just doesn’t let me create a keyframe
I’ve got the exactly the same problem.
With the sound track selected in counter browser i’m able to insert a keyframe but the song restart from 0.
With sound track selected in matinee (and nothing selected in counter browser) i can’t insert keyframe in matinee…
I just want to create a fade-out of the soundtrack at the end of the matinee timeline.
In UE4.6 I haven’t found a way to do it to an individual sound track but you can fade all the matinee sound out by doing this:
-
Right-click on your Director Group
and add an Audio Master track. Add
two keyframes in the Audio Master
track to mark the beginning and end
points of your sound fade. -
Right-click on each of these keyframes in the Audio Master track and set
their volumes (e.g for a fade out
set the end keyframe to 0 and the
beginning keyframe to 1). Use the
same process to set the Interp mode
of both keyframes to Curves
(Auto). -
To check your fade, open the
Curves Editor and click on the
little square on the Audio Master
track that looks like a graph. After
centering the curves editor
viewport, you should see the curve
showing a fade-out between your two
keyframes. When you play the Matinee
you should hear the sound fade.
Same problem here. It just seems not possible to add a key in a sound volume curve.
