I wanna use a spritesheet I found on devianart but I’m having difficulties extracting it. its not a smooth process
I recommend using a software called Piskel (online and free) to copy the spritesheet’s images. It will take time, but I think it’s possible to use it to animate it in a .gif format.
Nevermind, .gif formats don’t work. try separating it with photoshop& using them as textures. Then switch between the textures.
How are the sprite sheets formatted?
If they’re nice and square already, replace the automatic extraction setting with grid and manually input the number of rows, columns and pixel dimensions of each.
If the sheets come with Texture Packer data then import Texture Packer’s JSON file.
