How do I disable acceleration and deceleration for my playable character?

Hey guys! i was wondering if anyone knew how I could make my character move quicker and have more control in the air? The air control modifier doesn’t really make it as controllable as I am wanting. I want the control of my character to be as controllable as Super Meat Boy, for example. Where it never feels like your character can’t get where you’re trying to get him to go, within reason of course, and stuff like that. And currently my character whenever I change direction, it the air or otherwise, he always has to slow down then speed back up like he’s fighting momentum, but I would rather him to just be able to turn on a dime and keep the same speed. How do I do that?
