How do i detach a bone to and attach it to a different mesh

I have a reload animation, but i cant detach the mag of the gun and re attach the mag. How do i do this in blueprints?

Is the magazine a separate static mesh? If the skeletal mesh isn’t meant to be separated, this may not be possible.

If it IS meant to be separated out, however, you will have to animate the gun model itself to match the character’s reloading animation. :slight_smile:
