How do I create morph targets for a character customization using Metahuman

Hi I wanted to create a simple morph target like “Nose width” for a character customization goal using a metahuman mesh and rigs.

So I exported the face mesh, made sure all export settings are correct. I create the blend shape in maya. Exported again as fbx.

Now importing the fbx is my nightmare at this point, I tried using the reimport with dialog, after clicking the skeletal mesh and under morph target. But after clicking reimport with dialog, selected the mesh and selected import, it just loads “Waiting for skinned assets to be ready 0/1” anddd its stuck there.

So I also tried turning off the interchange framework, some people said it messes up with the import. But after turning off, restarting, the reimport and import doesnt even work, and it just says failed to import.

what the hell is the way to go on about this? literally its just adding a simple nose width morph target to my metahuman mesh. Can someone help me and enlighten me on this topic. Thank you.
