I’ve tried creating an animated vector field as it’s in the filter list in the content browser. Also can see it in the source files. Just wondering if its possible to do this? Would like to import maya fluid caches for water and explosion effects but can only seem to create static fields right now. In fact I can even create a global field from fga files. not sure where to do that either.
I am fairly certain static vector fields are the only fields supported currently.

Only static vector fields are still supported – no plans in the near future to support animated vector fields.
Can anyone verify if this works with Maya 2018 on Windows 10?
