How do I create a player build system?

So I’m new to Unreal (and yes, I am far too ambitious but I tried starting small but seemed like nothing I learned had any relevance to what I want to create) Anyway, so I’ve started on a landscape and I want to make it so that certain areas of the landscape are able to be built on in game (like lots in the sims). I want to start with the basics and build up but don’t know how to create the individual areas to be built on. Don’t want to add any foliage to my landscape beforehand, as I don’t want to have to remove it again when I create the build system. Hope this makes sense, any answers or tips will be gratefully received :slight_smile: my only ask is that you understand how many times I’ve heard the words “you’ll never make anything like that so don’t bother trying” I don’t generally like to give up, even if I’m 103 years old still trying to figure it out…I’m not the type of person to say it’s too advanced.
