How do i change the basic running third person animation to the walking animation?

I just realized that ue4 has a walk animation and i would like to put the walking animation as a main and maybe put the running behind a specific button or remove it all together

Cant give you direct instructions but what you are looking for is called AnimationBlueprint. There you can set which animations are to be played.

i dont really know what youre talking about as i entered the blueprint but found nothing

Here is the documentation. The generated mannequin already has such an AnimationBlueprint assigned. Maybe you can look up a Tutorial on YouTube. If i can i will post a screenshot later.
