I created my model in reality capture (0.004204 units/texel) and using the information from the orthomosaic I calculated Area 2D = 1459.03 m²
Area 3D = 3599.02 m². The point count is 4123726 and triangle count is 998 thousand.
The main goal is to create a 3D Model of a coral reef and then export the LAS file into arcGIS Pro. Because RC uses triangulation to calculate surface area, I aim to create TIN models in arc which follows the same principle.
Anyone know how to derive the resolution of the model in RC?
If your images are taken from roughly the same distance, this should give you an idea
