how do I blend the top half of one animation and use another half of another?


Im trying to have a base fall animation that doesnt affect the top half of the aim animation that ive already made. it seems when im in the air it plays a walk animation even though im in the air. Is there a way to overide just the bottom part of the character
only when its in the air without affect the top part which allows the player to aim up and down and fire from the hip. Or do I have to crate a separate aiming animation for when the character is in the air?

Hey there @TheTreloarian! You can blend different animations for every bone if you wanted to! Below are 2 tutorials that do the same thing. One is focused on blending different anims from top to bottom, but the other is focused on different pieces.
