How do I add small Particles to a laser beam?

To give an example of what I mean I will post this picture. I have been trying to look on how to do this but no luck.

You actually put the answer in your question

It’s particles.

One of Niagara templates is already close, dust particles, you just need to spread them along the beam, and set the emissive.

Hey there @Hairy_Ape_Man! Welcome back to the community! Generally you’d make a particle system that creates the beam like so:

For the small particles however, you’ll use your beam itself as a base shape, and then just mimic the setup of the built in emitter “Hanging Particulates”.

Will this work for cascade?

Yes, same basic concept. Hanging particulates stretched along one axis. A bit more fiddly to do in cascade maybe…

Yep! Though with cascade it’d be a bit different, however here’s a tutorial for cascade beams!
