How do Cloth Physics work in unreal??

So I’m trying to make a cloak for my character that droops to their side and back, but I need to import it as a skeletal mesh?

I made the cloak in maya, unwrapped it, and exported it as an FBX, and whenever I try and import it to Unreal as a Skeletal mesh, all of Unreal jus pauses and crashes.

I’m not sure how this is supposed to work, does anybody have any instructions on how I should be doing this?
