How do change version of my game from version 4.3 to 4.4?
When you downloaded 4.4 Version of UE, you can click on “Launch”.

If you did this, Editor will start up and show a window where you can pick a project. If you now pick a project that isn’t updated for 4.4, editor will tell you to upgrade it.
You have to choose between overriding your project or creating a copy.
I would always create copy, because upgrading a project from one version to another can cause problens and you don’t want to destroy you project with this, do you? (:
How do you keep editor settings from one version to next? Is it safe to export from one version and import to next or do you run risk of crashes if settings were changed around between versions on engine side? It’s rather frustrating to have to re-set up your workspace from version to version.
Sorry for not answering fast enough. I find it rather difficult to track questions i answered.
Normaly your settings are saved withing project. Each project saves its editor and project settings and should be upgraded with whole project. Just try it. If you chose to create a copy while upgrading your normal project wont get harmed.
panel locations seems to be only thing that is not saved between conversions if you create a copy instead of converting in place. If there are other settings not being saved, please let us know in Bug Reports section. Thanks!
