How did Epic made their cliffs and other very large objects?

Hey everyone,

I always found the cliffs in Kite Demo looked gorgeous, and i’d like to make others with shapes I need. How did you made them? Did you used photogrametry for such large objects? Maybe using a drone? Or did you made them in maya?

Also I have this question for some textures, especially the rock texture used in the landscape.

You can create such stuff in your 3d program, but I think in this video they explain in detail how they made the assets for the kite demo: ?v=clakekAHQx0 :slight_smile:
