How could I make a dash that overides my current velocity.

Genuinly tried anything. Nothing works.

Set Velocity of the Movement Component for the duration of the dash.

Aye, makes sense. Try it like so: [image] This should give you plenty of framerate and friction independent control, including the curve of the dash for more interesting behaviours. Otherwise you’d need to tackle friction - you can find it on the character movement component - so it could be a matter of disabling it. Not sure how fiddly this could become.
