How connect Kapok Tree?

How to connect Kapok Tree branches to maintrunk? I have tried putting them manually, but I get these awkward lines.

Hello Minte,

If these were your own assets you’d have the ability to do some Vertex Painting to help with that transition. (Modeling Mode → Paint Vertex Colors in UEFN)

Or, if you were using Unreal Engine 5 blending using Runtime Virtual Textures could be a thing.

In this case, I’d say those branches would be far enough away from the player that the awkward lines wouldn’t be noticeable?

Those things is too complex for me for now :face_with_spiral_eyes:, But yeah, looking from far away, it is less visible, but still, I tried adding more branches, and then I noticed that they create shadows underneath, and then it blends them quite well.

Also, can I ask you a few more questions or should I make more question posts? Because I am still new to this uefn, ue and ue forum.

To stay ‘on topic’ this thread should only have questions/discussion about the Kapok Tree and/or methods/experiments/findings related to using it’s branches.

Feel free to create other threads for different questions/topics though! (But always try to do a bit of research with google before posting)
