How can I stop these artifacts popping up in a render?

I’m exporting a PNG sequence at 100 quality and there’s still this odd digital artifacting on the horizon. Also there’s a bizarre exposure issue happening at the start, but it’s easy enough to crop that out.

The exposure thing at the start just looks like auto exposure catching up. You can either turn the exposure to manual and adjust the exposure offset (can be done either in PPV or specifically in the camera settings) or increase the speed of the auto exposure

The artifacts in the distance look specific to the water and may just need some experimentation to work out, especially how tessellation works with the water asset - if it has higher resolution when closer to camera but lower resolution when farther away that might be related to what you’re seeing. Adjusting the settings for how it subdivides may help.

Is nanite on & on for that actor? I’ve honestly found quite a few minor issues like that with nanite and have been turning it off for lots of things.

You could also try cranking the screen percentage when rendering - so if it’s a 1920x1080 output, either try increasing the screen percentage for the render, or rendering double that size and then scaling down the final output in whatever program you’re using to make the mp4/final video.
