How can I set play in new editor window fullscreen borderless?

Question, does anybody know how I can set up my play in new editor window to be full-screen and with out boarders? cant seam to find any settings, and I also tried using counsel commands in blueprints but they don’t seam to work as well. I may be just missing something, if anybody has any suggestions or ideas or comments that would be awesome.

thanks

looks like there is no way. “Play in new window” does not respond to a console commands as well. But, “standalone game” accepts console commands.

By the way, why do you require to have full-screen in “play in new window” ?

I’m testing out HUD elements, and making sure there scaling correctly, also I want to make sure I am getting all my pixels. so 1920/1080 is giving me all those pixels, and not a crunched down version of it. Ill try playing in a stand alone game and see what I get.

Hey,

it’s not directly a full screen application, but you could change the size of the “Play in New Window”/“New Editor Window” option to the size of your monitor. This would have the same effect.

I hope it helped!

Sincerely

Hey Gamixie, I tried that and it almost worked, until I checked Always center window to screen. That seamed to do the trick. thanks everybody

Is this broken in 4.10? I get a border around the window now. I think previously, it would center on the screen and the window border would be hidden. Maybe the “Always Center Window to Screen” option is broken?

I’m also having this border in 4.10 Did you find a solution?

with 1920x1200 screen, i set PIE new window resolution to 1920x1080 and horizontal 1920 are centered (no vertical borders from left or right side), so it looks like borderless window already. With 1900x1200 resolution, it has no border from top, but at bottom it displays windows taskbar (“always on top” option tired both variants), “center window” was always enabled, 4.11.2.

Try the parameter “-fullscreen” in standalone game, it works nice for me.
