Formerly I could set a target poly-count in “high detail” , Something like 300 mil polygons.
Where it is now? I seems can’t find it any more?

Dear kir238,
the option to set maximal vertex count was removed from RealityCapture with the latest release. This command is now related only to Preview model.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to set maximal vertex count anymore, only maximal vertex count per part, so you can try using that setting.
I am interested in more detailed mesh. It seems to me I could get it a bit more sharp and detailed one with higher polycount. So I wonder if I do more vertexes would it make it more sharp and detailed of it would be same , just bigger parts ?
The computation results will be almost the same, there will be change in count of model parts.
So nothing could be done to make it crisper and detailed and less “melted” or it’s just my imagination and the soft makes as many vertexes as possibly could be extracted from given photos?
And making more vertexes would give nothing but extra heating? I am asking because before I managed to get up to tiny veins in fallen leaves on a ground from my SIGMA foveon camera images and now I can’t
You can take more images of the object. This could help to get more vertices. As you said, the soft is doing the best from what it has.
ok, Thanks Ondrej
