Hi Everyone,
I have a large 20km environment which is completely made up of static meshes, there is no landscape. I need to somehow scatter grass on all of the areas that have a grass material applied. The parts of the mesh that have the grass material are separated as I thought it would be quickest to just use the Paint Fill foliage tool. But that doesn’t seem to be the best idea for performance, correct me if I’m wrong.
I have looked at a lot of tutorials and tried finding other solutions, but all of the videos or guides I find are using a later version of Unreal, where PCG is fully functional and no longer experimental. But as I am using 5.3 it seems like the PCG tools aren’t developed enough. Again, correct me if that’s wrong and if you know of a way I can use PCG, because from what I can tell it is what I need.
I am very limited on time to do this. I appreciate any help you can give me, please let me know if you need any more info.
