How can I reduce artifacts from denoiser?

Hello,

First time trying to get an animation with the path tracer on. But I get a lot of artifacts and flickering in areas of my render due to the denoiser. I can't get rid of them. It's so awful and annoying! It's almost everywhere

I don't want to increase the number of samples, The render times would be crazy. Right now I have:

Max bounces: 10

Samples per pixel 512

Denoiser on (would be nice to set the amount or a different method)

Firefly brightness 30.00

Here's is a link to the awful result

If there is any way to get rid of that, I will be forever grateful. 🙏

Hello ,

Thank you for posting in the community regarding your rendering settings and providing the example results.

I recommend you take a look a the Lakehouse Retreat demo scene to get an idea on the settings used for that scene and I also recommend you ask other users on the Facebook Twinmotion group to get more feedback from other users doing similar work. Each scenes and settings could differ depending on what you have in the file and what you need to export.

Here is the overview video on how to use the Path Tracer:

Try turning the firefly brightness to 0 ... I was getting ready to throw in the towel with Twinmotion as my textures all looked smeared and blurry after rendering.. but looked fine in real time which didn't make sense so I started changing settings 1 by 1 until low and behold.. the firefly brightness was the culprit.

What's happening to your video looks the same to what was happening to my still renders.. worth a shot
