How can I prove that I have permission to use a company logo in my UEFN project?

I’m planning to create and publish a UEFN game that uses a company logo as an in-game asset.

If I have officially obtained permission from the logo owner (such as through a license agreement or written authorization), I have a few questions I’d like to ask.

Could you please help clarify the following?

  • When publishing my game, is there a way to let Epic Games know or provide proof that I have permission to use the company logo?

  • If any copyright or trademark questions come up during development or after the game is published, is there a way to show Epic Games that I have permission to use the company logo?

  • If documents such as a license agreement or written authorization need to be submitted, could you please let me know how and where they should be submitted?

  • If there is no official way to declare or prove that I have permission to use the company logo, what would be the recommended way to handle this?

  • If submitting documentation is not required, are there any recommended best practices for keeping records or maintaining proof of the authorization in case it is needed later?

I would appreciate any guidance you can provide.
