How can i prevent my camera to spam both sound and the zooming??

Hello, i would like a little help with this issue, since i didn’t found anywhere how to do solve xD, i picked a blueprint from a youtube video of how to make camera zoom in/out and it works fine, but if you press repetly the button, the sound will play the same amount pressed and the camera will be there zooming in and out, im really new to all the engine and blueprint system but i can manage somethings but after even trying solving by myself i didn’t have any sucess, so if anyone can help i would really appreciate, if don’t bother i would like some prints with how to do.

Go to Settings > Sounds & Vibration > System Sounds and turn off the Camera Shutter Sound.

It’s unclear how you want the zoom to work, perhaps you could elaborate a bit. After tapping to Zoom In:

  • do we wait until the animation has finished and only then can zoom out?
  • do we wait x seconds before we can zoom out?
  • can the zoom be interrupted?
  • what should, ideally, happen while the user madly bashes the same button? The initial zoom in / out anim keeps playing?

Hi, my idea is when u press the button the zoom in animation and sound would play and both wouldn’t be stopped no matter how many times the player spam, and only after a brief milisencond would be able to zoom out e the same to zoom in again and so on.

My other idea would be the sound stoppig immediately when one of the other sounds of camera zoom in or out is playing, making possible player spam but the sound would cut to match the current zoom animation, i think the first idea would look better and maybe easier to do, but if could make any of these it would be way better than what i have :sweat_smile:

The above assumes sound is shorter than the Timeline, if that’s not the case, do tell.
