How can I make this collision work with this Character BP with this model?

As you can see it doesn’t fit at all. I have barriers to hold them back from the player but their heads stick out! I tried using the physics asset of the skeletal mesh but so far it does nothing. The heads still stick out even though I’ve messed with the collision channels for a long time. They physics asset is set to block the barriers and vice versa, and I’ve tried with both collision enabled and physics only enabled no query. Also I can’t just move or expand the capsule because it still needs to fit through standard size doors. What is to be done here?
