How can i make the character peek without keys conflicting

I wanted to make my character peek by pressing Q or E, so when i hold Q and then press E it should be getting the first input (Q) and would only change to E if i released Q, but i can’t figure out
how to make that and mainly how to hold Q and press E and keep Q active until I release it
