What would be the best approach, to use Cascade, or a mesh with a translucent material? I originaly thought that Cascade would be the best solution for an animated aurora, however i’m not certain which type of emitter would be the best to use, and how to set it up. Maybe creating a the basic mesh in Blender would be alternative method, which could then be imported and given a translucent material with some basic panning of textures applied?
I have included some reference images below for scale, colour and general shape.
