So let me explain. I decided to have two ways for my characters to talk in my game. One will be through cutscenes that will feature fully animated versions of the character, made in 3ds Max.
No problem there, pretty straightforward. However, I also want my characters to talk during gameplay. I was able to make additive animations in the Animation Blueprint but this is for using one animation only.
I want to have them say different things at different points of the game while still playing their player-controlled animations (idle, walk, run), for example describing what they see or giving tips to the player. Note I will be animating the dialogue (mouth) using morphs in Max and then export the FBX in UE. How should I go about it?
