The execution pin has to connect to the set frame limit node, then to the save settings node!

FIXED IT!. it was very simple. I had something ticked in my project settings in the general settings and I had something ticked in there called “Used fixed frame rate”. I unchecked that and now I’m getting the fps I set. thanks for the help Goncasmage:)
the scale works for me by just adding widgets to my game and adding buttons to it and when a button is clicked, I just tell it to change the fps to whatever.
