I understood that all texts would be automatically translated for my island. But I don’t think it is working. How can I localize my texts?

Still Work?
To localize your texts in Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) or Fortnite Creative, automatic translation doesn’t apply to custom text you’ve added manually (like in devices, UI messages, etc.). You’ll need to localize those texts yourself.
Here’s how you can do it:
Steps to Localize Your Text:
Use the Localization Dashboard (UEFN):
Go to Window > Localization Dashboard.
Create a new localization target for your project.
Add all the text sources you want to translate (like Verse scripts, UI elements, etc.).
Export the Text for Translation:
In the dashboard, click on Gather Text to extract all translatable text.
Then, export it to a Portable Object (.po) or CSV file.
Translate the Text:
Use tools like Poedit or even a simple spreadsheet editor to translate your text into the desired languages.
Import the Translations:
After translating, import the files back into your project through the Localization Dashboard.
Test Your Island in Each Language:
You can preview how your island appears in different languages by changing your Fortnite client language settings.
🔁 Note: Auto-localization might work for system messages or device defaults, but any custom text (like from the HUD message device or Verse code) must be translated manually.
