How can I limit where armored walls are used? or if they destroy my world's floors and walls?

I have a base styled map where players can use armored walls to protect their base by reinforcing their own builds. Sometimes, players misplace these walls onto pre-made floors and walls that are meant to be indestructible and are just part of my map. Once the armored wall is placed on a premade floor or wall, and then broken, it also destroys the floor or wall which is meant to be indestructible.

Some settings:
Island settings - “Building Can Destroy Environment” = False
On floors and walls - “Can be damaged” - False

Is there are way to limit players from placing armored walls on those floors or walls? Or is there a way if they do so, that the original floor or wall remains after the armored wall is destroyed?

Thank you in advance!

If you use the Building Bounds > Dynamic BUilding Placement Type > Destroy Anything That Collides setting, builds won’t be able to be placed on that Prop.

There is also a team setting and allow team damage, but I have no idea if this would work for you, and I think maybe the resulting red outline from the props of an enemy base could be visually a little annoying while engaged in combat.

Thank you for the advice @Hardcawcanary, I tried but when changing the Building Bounds > Dynamic Building Placement Type > Destroy Anything That Collides setting, it did not have any impact on the players ability to place armored walls.

I think I was able to find a work around, by switching the Building Attachment Slot from: SLOT Floor To: SLOT Wall. Are there any negative impacts that you’re aware of with this solution?

Oh cool, nice idea, I’m unaware of any negatice impacts from this.

Ah hah, thanks for the feedback. This seemed to be working for me so I went and had a look and where I have this setting is on whole buildings, but at the edges where the Destroy anything that Collides props are next to a Counts Towards Bounds prop, builds are able to be placed over the Destroy anything that Collides props.

If you do get any issues from the Attachment Slot in a different spot that does something with the SLOT Wall there is also the SLOT None.

Thank you @Hardcawcanary, I’ll checkout SLOT None as well.
