How Can I Hide UI always?

The UI disappears when I press G, but I see the orange border and gizmo of the selected asset in the other viewports.

How can I completely hide the UI?

Hi Gwan,

I’ve moved this topic from ‘International’ to ‘Getting Started & Setup’

Just to be clear, you’re talking about using multiple viewports with Window → Viewports right?

It looks like each viewport has its own settings, so you’re able to just click inside the viewport to give it focus and press ‘G’ (or click the viewport options drop down in the top left and check ‘Game Mode’)

I’m not sure of any way to ‘link’ the game mode toggle between the viewports though.

I am not fully aware if you can hide the actual selection gizmo without modifying the code. There is absolutely no reason for why you would want to remove the tool that allows you to see what is and isn’t selected.

If you select an object you can press G twice and it will hide the outline and gizmo. Hiding it completely, is not something I think you can do easily.

Hey @GwanHyeok!

You can turn of the Mode Widget and Selection by finding those options in show → advanced, and deselecting them. You should be able to do this in the other viewports.

I hope the above is the solution you need!

Thank you very much. This is what I wanted!

But I’m using two viewports, the other one is just for viewing, moving objects from the other.

However, if I move the object in another viewport, the advanced setting is initialized again.

Is there a way to fix the settings?

Hey @GwanHyeok,

I don’t seem to be having that issue myself. How are you setting up your viewports?

Thank you for your answer!

Everything has been solved by setting the default setting. Thank you so much for the exact answer!

Can’t find a general setting for Gizmo hiding or customization. Anyway adding a shortcut for Widget Mode helped.
