How can I get Unreal to recognize my Maya mesh groups?

Hi!

I’m a new user and I’m trying to import a file from Maya that contains a multitude of modular pieces. I have them grouped in Maya, however when I import them into UE4 every single object can only be selected alone. This is not what I had in mind. Please tell me there is a way to group objects so they will be recognized, duplicated, and translated as groups!
