How can I fix the error "failed to restart background service" when I try to open bridge?

had the same issue on UE 5.0.3

after had unistall the engine and reinstall it, the issue did not solve…

I solved it on this way:
once opened the “add Quixel content” from the Engine make sure to indicate the correct “Library Path” location to megascan library.

you can find it on “preferences” onder your acocunt setting.

it worked for me.
