How can I export the uasset files of the Unreal Engine 4 mannequin’s animations as a FBX file, or any other kind of animation file, that can be imported into Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, or Daz Studio?
So, if I understand correctly:
I would have to export the UE4 mannequin’s skeletal mesh, skeleton, and animations as FBX files. Then import those files into Blender. And then, somehow, reassemble the mannequin’s mesh, skeleton, and animations in Blender for it can move around in Blender like it did originally in Unreal Engine 4?
Left click on the asset > “Asset Actions” > “Export”
It gets exported as an FBX, if the asset is an animation it is exported as an armature, so in blender you’ll get a new armature for each action, but the action can be used with the skeletal mesh from unreal. And you can delete this armature once the action is imported.
