I am trying to send a 3d view that has a section box to show the model cut through, but both datasmith and direct link options always send another 3D view.
It did not detect other views.
I have reset the temporary folder, delete it, open Revit with just a single view, but its always detects the same old view.
How to fix thix?

I will give it a go no promises....
First you can try having the Revit camera perspective or sectioned perspective view as the only one open - you have probably done all this but anyway.,... so open that view you want to send to TM, hit CH for close hidden windows in Revit - (2021, 22, and 2023 sort of sneakily over rode this long standing keyboard shortcut but I always like it so have edited my keyboard shortcut file, exported it and keep a fresh copy stashed, so this over rides, the default Revit assignment for this super handy shortcut), otherwise close all hidden windows.
With that being the only window open now, do a Save, then go to the TM options on the View Tab in Revit 2024 or the Datasmith plug-in for earlier versions and do a sync again.
If this does not work, Save your TM file, now go and stop the data flow of the plug in if you are using the Datasmith version for workflow.
Do a Revit file save, and then connect the plugin data flow again, try the sync and go and see if this has refreshed the open file view in TM.
If not, you can keep your Revit chosen view open and save then close the TM window and start a new file and send the only oen view to TM and this should correct your issue however, that will not help if you have a lot of already assigned materials etc in the existing TM file you are working on.
I have been in a mode to swap the default 3D Revit view and changed it to a camera perspective and it has worked fine, tried using trhe section box on the 32D view multiple times and it always worked, however I have seen a few times where the refresh sync button, has not refreshed the open TM view so I just did the stop and go rather than pause and that has worked.
Does it make a difference and assume you are not in either Media or Export mode when you try to make changes sync wise ?
Why not use the Sections cube tool ? surely that is super good ? who will know ?
